In the Joomla extensions directory, the feed burner subscription email module is listed as 1.5 compatible. I had no problems installing it, but am unable to get it to actually work.

The module appears, I can enter my email and click subscribe, the captcha window opens, I receive the confirmation email from feed burner, but it doesn't actually register my subscription. When I go to my feed burner account, it says there are no subscribers, and I'm not getting daily emails.

Anyone else have issues with 1.5?

Scratch this post. It looks like it's working. On the feedburner account page, you view your email subscribers through the publicize tab. The main "subscription" count is RSS feed subscribers, not email subscribers.

congrats ! that's right. anyone subscribe to your site's email rss subs should receive rss by email now if you post / update content.

I have problems with this module in Joomla 1.5. I have installed and I doesn't work. I have to change something?

this module is for Joomla 1.0.x. so you need to turn on Legacy support on Joomla 1.5.x

hopefully i can port it to Joomla 1.5.x native very soon. just stay tuned. should take very fast time to do that but now i m quite occupied with other things.

I'm having problems with this module but i've got it working on another installation of Joomla so im not sure what's wrong. The error im getting is:

Notice: Undefined variable: author_link in /homepages/11/d116856252/htdocs/heyyouguys/modules/mod_feedburneremailsubs/mod_feedburneremailsubs.php on line 16

I've put the ID (2628898) for feedburner in and have made sure it is active on the feedburner site but still the error remains. Any ideas why?
